THE PROCESS BEHIND THE FINISH

PREP & INSPECT
Every floor starts with a close inspection of the concrete. We look for cracks, chips, stains, previous coatings, moisture concerns, and other areas that may affect the finished floor.

BASE COAT
Once the concrete is properly prepared, we apply the base coat. This is the foundation of the flooring system and provides the surface where the decorative flakes will be applied.

GRIND & PREP
The concrete is mechanically diamond-ground to remove surface contaminants, weak material, and old coatings while creating the proper surface profile for the coating to bond to the concrete.

FLAKE BROADCAST
Your selected decorative flakes are broadcast throughout the wet coating to create the color, pattern, and overall look of the floor. Flake coverage can be customized depending on the style you want.

REPAIR
Cracks, chips, holes, and other imperfections are repaired before the coating goes down. Taking care of these areas first helps create a smoother, more consistent finished floor.

SCRAPE, VACUUM & TOPCOAT
After the coating has cured, excess flakes are scraped down and the floor is thoroughly vacuumed and cleaned. We then apply the protective topcoat, sealing the system and giving the finished floor its durability, texture, and final appearance
